Description
Today we welcome the incredible Derren Brown to the pod. Hot from his West End Show 'Unbelievable', Derren fantasises about running his own cafe and how he has a favourite spatula. We then discuss how many Derren's there actually are and share nostalgic tales of shoplifting, most notably when Derren managed to set off the alarm in Harrods trying to steal a Luther Vandross Cassette. Due to his award winning Cha-Cha, I try to convince him to go on Strictly, while he explains why British crime dramas just don't cut it. I imply that magic is akin to thieving as he explains how false memory alters our perception of past events. Derren also lifts the lid on some classic episodes of 'Trick or Treat' and gives us his own perception of what it's like to be famous. And last but not least, tells us how he blanked Charlize Theron in L.A.
