“I first discovered the crew during high school, when comic book men first premiered and I was instantly hooked on the guys. Their brutal honesty, true friendship and comedy, immediately hooked me and I found TESD.
Since then and even after the early cancellation of comic book men, I have become a lifelong fan of TESD and I have also become a huge fan of IJ.
I especially love the work that Walt does for all of the games that are played on the show. The aggravation and frustration from both Bryan and Q, is some of the funniest content on any podcast. Keep bringing back Dyslexia!!! I also enjoy all of the additional crew that is involved, especially 148, Sunday Jeff and Frank 5! Without these collection of people, the show wouldn’t be the same.
On a personal note. Over the past 10 years of listening, I have found that TESD has helped guide me through tough times. As someone who is now sober, it was comforting to hear the honesty from Bryan and know that people aren’t alone in this struggle.
Also, as a fan of comic book men, and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community…… I don’t think there were enough gay jokes about Mike and Ming!!!!!”
