The suspicious death of Natalie Wood. Accidental drowning or foul play?
Description
Actress Natalie Wood was considered Hollywood royalty. She was nominated for three Academy Awards before the age of 25. On the night of November 29,1981, Natalie disappeared into the waters off Catalina Island. She had been staying on her yacht, “Splendour” with husband Robert Wagner, actor Christopher Walken and Dennis Davern, caretaker of the yacht. Davern claims a violent argument erupted between Wood and Wagner in their stateroom. Her body was found in the water hours later. The coroner’s report, cause of death by drowning, was recently amended to include “drowning and other undetermined factors.” Teresa’s guest Marti Rulli co-author of “Goodbye Natalie, Goodbye Splendour” a book she co-wrote with Davern, will join Teresa on this intriguing episode of Stories Beyond the Headlines.
