At the age of ten, Jorge Garcia was brought to the United States from Mexico, by undocumented family members. For the next 30 years, he attended school, worked, raised a family, paid taxes and contributed to his community. On January 15th of this year, Jorge was deported back to Mexico. His family, friends, community and all those he touched were left devastated. It has since become his wife Cindy’s mission to speak on behalf of her husband and the Dreamers pending deportation by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, also known as ICE.
