“What a great pod.... just listened to them all, such an insight into human dynamics and cultural differences.
Can anyone earning the sort of money Keith has earned really relate to the rest of society, ie those of us who don’t earn that kind of income?
Is it purely the money, or is it the difference in trans-Atlantic culture? Certainly those of us living in the U.K. or the States probably all know someone who appears friendly, yet seems to take no interest in other people’s lives...which would indicate it’s not just about the money, nor cultural differences.
Ros you handled yourself admirably, and your lovely sounding wife was also right on the money, small pun intended!
I’m sure Keith is a great guy at heart, but the older one gets the less attractive self-absorbed (by his own admission) people seem to become.
