Description
Did you know that there’s three forms of God’s Word? The Bible, the character of Christ and the audible voice of God. God has communicated to us through His audible words only a few times in the Old testament. For instance God literally spoke the world into existence His words (Gen 3). This is also how the Israelites received the ten commandments according to Ex. 20:1-3. God didn’t speak audibly often. Which leads us to the written form of God’s Word ——— the Bible. The Bible is the written form of God’s Word. Moses and Joshua wrote a majority of the Old Testament and the New Testament was written by the Apostles. After the New Testament was written we believe that God’s Words came to completion, because of Jesus who is also a form of God’s word. John 1:1 also refers to Jesus as the Word of God.
