“So I’ve only listened to one episode (two technically if we count the 10 minute intro episode) and I’m already completely in love with this podcast. It’s the first Tolkien related podcast that feels like I’m actually reading through this with a friend rather than listening to a lecture about what I do and don’t know about the books. As someone who’s seen the movies but has never managed to read the books for various reasons, trying to get into the Tolkien works can be daunting and it’s nice to listen to someone simply reading through and enjoying the books for the first time. It’s incredibly entertaining and as much as I want to try and read through each chapter before listening to the next episode I have a feeling I’ll be binging my way through all the episodes out there so far.”
