Description
As we get closer and closer to the end of 2020, we’ve been asking Newstalk listeners what the 20 most influential moments of the last 20 years are… We had the first Black President of the United States, the Queen in Croke Park, a new currency, Brexit, a pandemic… Over the next four weeks, we’re focusing on one of the Top 20 each day – and today it's introduction of the iPhone in 2007 which paved the way for the rise of the smartphone and social media. Jessica Kelly mapped out Kieran Cuddihy's digital footprint online over the last two decades and demonstrated how much of a picture she could paint about his life and movements. Shane Coleman and Ciara Kelly put away their smartphones for a day and reported back on how they got on using only the Nokia 5310.
