“I’ve listened a few times. It has potential. It’s a relatively new show, so maybe they just need to work through some production and format growing pains. Or maybe I’m just not the target audience?
In any case... they’ve gotta dump all the bizarre music transitions between stories. Super loud, super irritating, super intrusive, especially when I’m still working on my first cup of coffee. Grating. They add nothing and just make me want to skip to my next news podcast. It’s news, not a variety show.
Also, no offense to the news reader intended, but the listening experience would be improved if WP would go with a professional. He sounds pretty amateurish.
I’ll check it out again in a couple of weeks. If they’ve polished it up a bit, I’ll subscribe and update my review.”
