“Here I am in retirement, dragging out of bed at 0900 if I’m lucky. Jeffrey Pierre is one of my favorite morning rituals. That and (with) coffee. With The 7, I get a breakdown of major stories, or sometimes, lighter fun tidbits (i.e. Buzz Aldrin’s marriage). Then I know where to direct my attention for longer reads. (I’ll hesitantly forgive his vacations. Everyone deserves time off work. But wow, do I miss him.) Thanks to WaPo and Jeff for The 7. It is a treat I’ve come to depend on.”
