This week we go back in time with former Essendon premiership player Rick Olarenshaw. Rick reminisces about his career, reflects on some of his favourite moments and people in the game. Rick, a Keilor product, joined the Bombers during their U19 years. He progressed to the senior ranks in 1993 and played a total of 77 games during his tenure at Windy Hill. Rick was a part of the famous Baby Bombers premiership in 1993. Following his departure at the end of 1998, he then spent time with both Collingwood and North Melbpurne. In this chat, Rick talks about his amazing debut season on 1993 and the premiership win, playing ANZAC Day football, the 1996 Prelim Final heartbreak, playing at the Pies and Roos, his injury issues and boundary riding with Channel 7.
