This week we go back in time with Fitzroy and Brisbane utility Scott McIvor . Scott reminisces about his career, reflects on some of his favourite moments and people in the game.
Scott, a Queensland football product, commenced his league career with Fitzroy in 1985. He spent three seasons with the Lions, playing 55 games which also included a best and fairest win in 1987. He then joined the Brisbane Bears in 1988, playing 145 games over 10 seasons, which included one season with amalgamated team - the Brisbane Lions.
In this episode, Scott talks about his beginning with Fitzroy, why he returned to Queensland and joined the Bears, the initial years of the Bears being based on the Gold Coast, playing alongside Roger Merrett and and Warwick Capper, playing in the Bears first finals game, and being an assistant during the Lions successful period.
