This week we go back in time with Hawthorn and Essendon utility Paul Barnard . Paul reminisces about his career, reflects on some of his favourite moments and people in the game. Paul, a Western Australian native, commenced his AFL journey with the Hawthorn Football Club in 1994. He spent two seasons at the Hawks, playing 11 games, before being involved in one of 90's biggest trades, ending up at Windy Hill with the Essendon Bombers. Paul played 140 games in the red and black, including the 2000 premiership win over Melbourne, where he kicked 4 goals. In this episode, Paul talks about his time at Hawthorn, featuring in the Salmon, Wellman and Jarman trade, Kevin Sheedy's influence on his career, the premiership win, his Grand Final heroics and the celebrations.
