This week we go back in time with former Adelaide Crows midfielder Matthew Liptak. Matthew reminisces about his career, reflects on some of his favorite moments and people in the game. Matthew, an inaugural Adelaide Crow player, was recruited from Glenelg for the 1991 season. During his 9 seasons at West Lakes, Matthew played 116 games and kicked 128 goals. He won the Malcolm Blight Medal in 1996 for Adelaide's Fairest and Best, as well as representing South Australian in State of Origin. In this chat, Matthew talks about getting selected by the Crows in their formative years, football in South Australia, juggling football and medical study commitments, 1993 season which saw a Preliminary Final berth his best and fairest season and some of the Crows great characters.
