Denis, a respected football administrator, spent 10 years as the Footscray Football Club CEO from 1987 to 1996. Denis is well known for 'blowing the whistle' on the merger talks between the Bulldogs and Fitzroy in 1989.
In this episode, Denis speaks openly about the merger talks and the Footscray and the events in 1989, he talks about the Footscray Fightback, the name change to the Western Bulldogs and some of his favorite Footscray players.
