David, a Wimmera Football product, made his way to the Essendon Bombers in the mid 80's, making his senior debut in 1986. David spent 10 years at Windy Hill, playing 58 games in that time and kicking 36 goals.
In this chat, David talks about making his way to Essendon, Essendon's dominant early 90s period, trying to make his way into the team, being omitted for the 1993 Grand Final team, his injuries along with sharing his experiences in the coaches' box at AFL and TAC Cup level.
