Essential Listening For All Actors & Creatives
I’ve been listening to this podcast since the very beginning and it’s such a breathe of fresh (British) air to the actor podcast world. There are so many fantastic podcasts directed at actors and acting out there, but what was lacking was a very British version of all these American, LA-centric podcasts. This is where the phenomenal Katie & Alexa come in. Bringing their witty British charm and love for London’s fast and furious hustle and bustle (yes that was sprinkled with sarcasm), we finally have a deep insight into what it’s like to be a working actor in the UK, in the hub of the industry (London), with completely and utter honesty. Everything they talk about is so brutally honest and a much needed spotlight shone onto the realities of living in ‘the 98%’ of actors who aren’t earning a few hundred thousand on their off years. Last little note, I wanted to give these girls all the love they deserve, the podcast has helped me MASSIVELY as a working actor in the last year and a bit, and I honestly believe they’ve played a part in me getting into an MA Acting course at GSA! Never thought I could get into drama school, but here we are! Thank you girls so much and here’s to the 98%!

I am so glad this podcast exists. I doubt I would be surviving the 98% life without these awesome, hilarious gals. Thank you for keeping me sane!

Challenging as it may be, it has left me in a position to crack through many a podcast on the road. After an inordinate amount of true crime, I recalled hearing about the 98% and decided...Read full review »

A fun, often thought-provoking theatre podcast that takes a warts and all approach to the many highs and lows that come with working in the performing arts. I really enjoy listening to the glorious Alexa and Katie and recommend this show to anyone looking for a great addition to their podcast...Read full review »
