Pretty dull overall - needs better editing
This podcast requires a paid subscription, so you’d think the production values would be top notch. That is not the case, unfortunately. What should be a story full of intrigue, danger and spy craft instead comes across as dull and amateurish due to poor editing. There are grammatical errors in the narration and it’s delivered in a flat monotone, sucking the energy out of the production. The narrator frequently repeats what was just said by Jack Barsky word for word, and there are big unexplained gaps in the narrative that left me thinking I missed an episode when I didn’t. This could have been a lot more interesting in the hands of a skilled editor and a professional voice actor as the narrator.

An amazing podcast. It is really one of the best I’ve heard. Well put together and well done. The commentary and interview were fascinating. I sure hope you guys come out with something similar!

I am currently on Episode 6 and I have to say, this podcast grabbed my attention instantly. I felt drawn into Jack’s world; his evocative storytelling gives the listener an incredible window into the world of the Cold Era spy, it has me enthralled. I highly recommend this podcast.

Subject is outstanding but the content within episodes is thin. Episodes seem to have more ads than other podcasts. Subscription after listening to 6 episodes is a bit underhanded. Unless I missed notice. Not enough details in the story to justify subscription.
