“I’m a spy nut and my gosh this is an interesting window into the late 20th century tension between communist east and the free west. His stories about being recruited are interesting and illuminating, but as my mom would say, “Jack is happy with how Jack turned out”. Way too much time spent on his standing in the community and how well he did in school. I don’t know why the podcast organizers saw fit to include that. That’s 10 minutes of my life I can’t get back. I do know why Jack included it. It feathers his nest”
