Won’t listen again!
After listening to the first episode about the titanic, I opted to listen to the second about the shirtwaist fire. I didn’t know much about the fire and was looking forward to the podcast. However, the podcast began with commentary about the fire “must have been a man’s fault” simply because it was mostly women who perished. Using this horrific situation as an opportunity to gender bias was an immediate turn off. Second, the guests were OBNOXIOUS. The unrelated banter and constant joking was inappropriate and distasteful. The fact that these women... after presenting themselves as feminists... were hysterically laughing about nets not being strong enough to catch women jumping for their lives, and again laughing hysterically about fire escapes collapsing with 20+ women dying as result. Absolutely disgusting. I will not listen to this again, and encourage others to do the same. Do not waste your time. Little facts shared by giggling, uninformed women.

Really fun podcast with a great and charming host. The podcast also provides a very succinct and accurate explanation of the difference between rats and mice in the episode about the plague.

Hilarious analysis, merciless judgment, and startling revelations abound in this delightful new series hosted by Rebecca Delgado Smith. If you’d enjoy a comedic and thoughtful look at some of history’s most egregious incidents, look no further.

I love the topics of this podcast. But there is very little content and a whole lot of random talking. One episode didn’t get into the topic for 10 minutes. Just a bunch of random talking. And the hosts laugh is the most annoying thing. I would like to like this but I can’t. Horrid.
