“I was born and raised in Alaska, lived there for nearly 30 years, my parents lived there for over 40, and the show just takes too much creative license in how it depicts aspects of life and the realities of the numerous locations mentioned. I’m a paranormal fan and subscribe to many shows, and perhaps someone without any personal experience with Alaska could enjoy the show for what it is, but I couldn’t make it work. Alaska is incredible, and dangerous, it can stand on its own without the treatment the producers have given it.”

“I am fascinated by all of the stories that are being told. I will say however you’ve miss pronounced several of the places Adak being one. Additionally the traditional people of Alaska are referred to as Alaskan Natives. Not Native Americans and not Alaska natives.”
