“I literally cried my eyeballs out as I was listening to Prophetess speak about her mother’s death. I could feel her heartbreak + anguish through my headphones + it made me reflect on how I treat my mother .... Not that I treat her bad or with disrespect, but I realized I don’t give my mother enough of my time. I am grateful my mother is very understanding that I have a chaotic schedule, but that doesn’t excuse me from not at least touching base with her every so often. After listening to Prophetess’ podcast, I have made the commitment to call my mother at least once a day. That’s the LEAST I can do.
