“The criticism:
The host cuts off the guests and can’t seem to stop talking long enough to let them answer questions. This got better after Bailey Bass, who I felt a bit sorry for.
The “hard hitting journalist” joke got old the second time it was said… and she uses it in every episode. Yeahhhh, she reuses all her jokes over and over.
She can’t seem to stop talking about herself. Some of these podcasts could have been half the length if she had been edited better. Was anyone editing or directing her? We could have had so much more guest content. Let’s face it, that’s the main reason why we’re all here.
Also, after alllll the bragging about how much she loves horror and IWTV it becomes obvious after guests reference things from the books, that she hasn’t read them!
At one point she even says she had no idea about something that is right from the book.
One more thing. Can the voicemail beep be a little less jarring? A little EQ and less volume would make it less shrill.
The positive:
Wonderful, wonderful guests. Fun interviews, when the host let them speak.
Great and really entertaining information about the wonderful show.
As much as I was disappointed with the host I still listened to all the episodes. It did get better toward the end.
