“The Mayfair Witches TV show is, quite simply, not in the same galaxy as the books. No one talking on this podcast seems to know, respect, or care about the “source material” at all. While modernizing the casting choices could of been admirable in some respects, the changes to the story line, overarching themes, motivations, etc are unforgivable and no amount of explanation from the show runners or cheeky commentary from the host will ever make up for it. This show needs to be scrapped and redone, and these writers need to pick a new field of work.”
