“I have never played any of the KH games. Yet it hasn’t stopped me from being obsessed with the story and the slow roll of lore drops that seems to be the MO of this franchise. I had already fully caught up with the Got it Memorized Podcast that re-caps the story in each game but wanted to hear more KH discussion. In the midst of the first pandemic wave I began searching for a podcast that could provide hot takes on latest KH news drop at the time. This is how I found The Ansem Report Podcast. The attractive podcast image and glowing reviews all but convinced me to give it a listen.
Without a doubt it has been the best podcast I’ve had a chance encounter with. I enjoyed the amazing synergy and banter between Jason and Mike so much I immediately went to ep.1 and binged it. They are lough-out-loud funny but always respectful and have gathered a community of amazing ppl that I never thought I’d interact with; especially on the internet where things are so polarized these days and typically sus. Listening to the answers from the community discord for the ‘Question of the Week’ segment on the pod are always so interesting and has made me like the pod even more than I already did. After a month or so of listening I began checking out their Twitch streams not knowing what to expect since I don’t play many video games in general. Not only am I a subscriber of their channel, I’ve become newly obsessed with all things FF related to KH starting with FFXV and now FFVII Remake #noregrets. I’m so glad to have discovered this podcast and joined the Super Spikeghetti Bros Community even if it’s led me to the discovery that I might have a thing for blonde, edgy sad boys.
I truly recommend this podcast to anyone. Give it a listen and it could lead you to the most unexpected positive experience on the internet as it has been for me and that’s huge in the year 2020, it’s true.”
