فدوى طوقان، شاعرة فلسطينية، تمثل رمزا شعريا نسويا وطنيا، تأثرت بشعراء المهجر، وكانت مِن أوائل مَن نظم الشعر العربي الحر. حازت على العديد من الجوائز والأوسمة، وغلب على شعرها الهمّ الوطني منذ عام 1967، فأطلق عليها "أمّ الشعر الفلسطيني" و"شاعرة فلسطين
