“I started listening to The Archers during a year in England. I liked it and kept up with it through podcasts when I returned. Little by little the writers made clear that the show would ‘challenge’ its traditional listeners and make the show more edgy. I hung on, despite the charm being worn away. Once they decided to have a character abort her child after being fairly far along simply because she ‘didn’t want it’, I asked myself ‘what are you doing?’ The show’s writers hate people like me. I need to move on and leave Ambridge to their not so tender mercies.”

“Along with everyone else PLEASE can we have more than one omnibus available to download? No matter if you subscribe or not, if you are on holiday with little access to data roaming you miss a week or two which is so frustrating. Otherwise its all great”
