Sergeant Kevin Briggs is a retired California Highway Patrol officer known as the 'Guardian of the Golden Gate.' He spent years patrolling the Golden Gate Bridge, where he compassionately convinced hundreds not to take their lives. A trained negotiator and mental health advocate, his story has been featured in TED Talks, major media outlets, and his book, “Guardian of the Golden Gate.” Now, through his organization, Pivotal Points, Kevin travels the world promoting mental health awareness, sharing his personal journey, and teaching others how to communicate with those in crisis.
