Love Amanda but interviewing isn’t her forte
Listen, I’m a huge Amanda Palmer fan — I think she’s an awesome person. That said, I find this podcast painful to listen to. She talks on and on about herself, to the point where her guests will stop attempting to be the interviewees and will start asking her questions. It very much seems Amanda Palmer is the featured guest on each episode, and the others are there to continue her narrative. It’s cringey and arrogant.

I really wanted to love this podcast, I’ve been a fan of Amanda for years, but I was pretty disappointed in her interviewing skills. The focus felt very much on her. Someone else mentioned this too, but at a certain point, the guests seem to give up and start asking her questions instead.
