For our view of life, it is great difference whether we see the world as a creation or a construction. It is not the idea of evolution that robs faith of its breath; but thinking the world is a divine construction site is what robs faith of its breath. Without the choice to say NO, every single YES is without love. Paul’s comments brought this back to mind AND beyond the mind to the heart of not merely the matter but of what matters most —certainly by my age and hopefully before. A process of eliminating what is reducible and even ridiculous without coming to finitely final yet eternally false conclusions. Much like the absurdity of saying Michael Jordan is the GOAT or greatest of all time. Such a conclusion about Michael Jordan or any other GOAT status necessarily leaves out all possibilities of another human being reaching an already parochial sort of static potentiality beyond MJ as a noun. Like freezing a wave and then trying to surf it. Ain’t gonna happen. We all know that we use the word “bird” to provide an approximate idea of the object we’re trying to convey to another. But has it ever occurred to you how the Western mind has fallen into idolatry where the word “God” is concerned? Don’t freak out but check for yourself here. Often we THINK that where God is concerned that the word “God” is the thing. Human beings and plants and trees aren’t the specific things but when we speak of God, than suddenly we know this word as a certain thing? Really? But we’re taught to do it. But this is what has happened or what many wanted to do with God and even the Holy Spirit by detaining Christ in a sort Jack in the Bible. Little wonder why 44,000 denominations or divisions inner circle only to crumble like the house of cards that are designed for collapse. Debating Jesus as a historical artifact is what we’re left with and among several Christian clubhouses, they get downright angry and vicious. How does one hate another who disagrees with his take on truth? How many truths are there? There is only truth. Hold on before you conclude. Read slowly again. There is only truth. If open to see this, you cannot be so fearful as to exclude from fear that is cast out. Now. Debating creates atheism. It does something more else. It makes “Christians” by label (and that’s all who label atheists as doomed are), move towards the atheistic label. Did you know the one truth (or temporal fact) that Christians by label have in common-certitude with Atheists by label? Both question ardently and even violently the same God that by dualistic extremes both do not believe in as a system. They’re dualistically concluding by disbelief by way of impossibly excluding the One and then the all from their finitely yet infinitely perceived final conclusions before the fat lady has had time to lose weight. The Christian by label who became a Christian by fear of a threatening God has been forced to perceive life and the Bible through a lens of misperception and capricious conclusions that this person never had the relational opportunity to fall effortlessly into freely. Even in the Bible we find Jesus as the Christ but if that’s all we find as presented to us a static noun because 19th century theological students and pastors in the southern United States decided must be termed “The word of God,” we better rethink any renewing of our minds that’s ever been allowed the freedom to occur. I can tell you beforehand, if you question conclusions that even Jesus stated are impossible to conclude, you’ll become disturbed and then you’ll experience the freedom outside of the Bible through The kingdom of God within you and the Holy Spirit will reveal the truth because there’s only truth that only relationship with an actively real Christ is wanting now to reveal to YOU.
