Non Zero
Arthur elevates reason above passion choosing to emphasize points of agreement and comity rather than casting disagreements as contests. I’m pleased to see him choose this medium to advance reasoned dialogue. In this first episode I was surprised that the interviewees did not seem to distinguish between beliefs and knowledge. Surely there are shared facts which would serve to highlight suspect beliefs. Lastly, if the transitory nature of most disagreements were emphasized perhaps our disagreements could be de-escalated.
