Long-tailed macaques are regarded by some as ”pests” and others as ”resources” - and they’re killed, captured and traded in huge numbers around the world - to the extent that they are now considered to be Endangered. The biomedical industry, which utilizes many thousands of LTM individuals every year, has launched a formal challenge to their Endangered status. We’ll talk with LTM expert Malene Friis Hansen and Policy expert Mark Jones about long-tailed macaques and the threats they face - and what you can do to help.
