Audie Just Pulls It All Together So Beautifully
In her Podcast, The Assignment, Audie Cornish picks an interesting subject, researches it, and then finds intelligent, knowledgeable guests to interview about it. With her killer journalistic talent, by the end of each episode, you feel like you really understand the topic she’s been covering in a way that allows you to discuss it intelligently with friends. However, you never feel like you’ve been lectured or talked at; instead you’re disappointed that it’s over and surprised the time has gone by so quickly. I always liked Audie’s voice on All Things Considered, and I’ve read a couple of her pieces in the NYT, so when I saw her podcast, I downloaded it immediately. Now, two days later, I’m sitting here with my sad face bc I’ve listen to all of them and now I’ve gotta wait for the next one to come out… Download it. You won’t be sorry.
