In 'Building Communities Outside Of The Party' they discuss the recent protests in Colombia, as well as how factors like elitism, narcos and Pablo Escobar have impacted the development of Colombia's electronic music scenes. They also look the evolution of the women's experience behind the decks and how class and colourism have affected this. Julianna emphasises the importance of collaboration and using music as a means of community building and talks about how the need for representation and access in music transcends gender in Colombia and what she has done about it.
