“Thank you for your introduction of how you came to be in this space of Astrology Hub. I am not Indigenous but very aware of spiritual appropriation of Indigenous knowledges by non-Indigenous, and I appreciated Donna’s acknowledgement of the teachings and advice of the Elders. I also understood the unraveling that Amanda experienced on the Big Island and Maui. Hawaii has that special magic to connect to one’s core. I wished we lived there too (we are Canadian). <3
I could relate to the concept of change and death of the current reality which is necessary to one’s growth and personal development. Change is never comfortable and we know it is necessary for life, for survival.
I’ve been using astrology for over 40 years but only as a novice, as a dabbler, curious to what’s out there. Over time though and with much criticism on my part, it has proven to be accurate and dependent on my point of view. I could be negative or I could be positive, it was always up to me. I have come to the conclusion that astrology is more than horoscopes for those who are sensitive to the cosmic weather, but a description or the map of energies available for those who are aware.”
