More Indigenous Info Please
Hi! I’m enjoying the podcast so far, looking forward to where you’ll take it! As you were describing the wild and wonderful history that’s all around us on our land, I was hoping you would mention the indigenous tribes whose land we are standing on in New York. As a podcast with a wide audience and a great platform, you have the power to shine a light on the full history of these places, and it would be really amazing to place your stories in the context of the long history of the landscapes you’re exploring. It’s a good reminder for all of us - we in the US are inhabiting a place with a rich, complicated history that we are all a part of.
