“Avoid this podcast if you are looking for a humble teacher. Try Tim Keller’s Gospel in Life podcast for fantastic Bible-based teaching from a humble teacher. In The Authentic Christian, the main speaker is so condescending to his co-hosts I’m surprised they put up with it. Overall, his fast arrogance and smug attitude is a filter that is abrasive to listen through. A lot of scripture is quoted, but it is definitely not objective or unbiased. I kept telling my husband this sounds like a Church of Christ podcast and I clicked on the About page and discovered that was accurate. Avoid this podcast if you appreciate teaching the comes from a humble teacher who cares about the listeners and not elevating his own authority.”
