“Edd, I’m a new fan of F1 since 2016,and I’ve become a fan of your podcast which I find to be intelligent, relevant and full of great insight. However I have to ask you to please speak up. I know you’re recording late at night when it’s quiet, so perhaps you feel you’re speaking loudly in the middle of the night, yet your habit about 1/3 of the way through the show, is your voice gets softer, like a loud whisper. I have to adjust the volume when you talk juxtaposed with some of your guests who speak normally.
I don’t think you’re trying for a breathy, smoky, and sexy voice, which for us men is unappealing and a turn-off, yet that’s how it sounds. For those of us listening back during our Monday morning commute, with road noise and the like, your voice is sometimes barely audible. Sorry, just calling it how I hear it. Especially compared to your competitors who are becoming more appealing merely because I can hear them. Please keep up the great content in your podcast, and enhance it by speaking louder.”
