The presenter needs to learn to present
Updated review: I wrote the below review and awarded 2 stars last year. Since then, the presenter has been changed and this has hugely improved the quality of the podcast. We now get to listen to the reporters and guests as opposed to the presenter constantly posting his own opinions. Therefore, true to my word, I have now increased my rating to 5 stars. That’s 4 stars for the podcast itself but also a bonus star for listening to the man in the street. Autosport is renowned and well known for its top journalists, and I have always enjoyed reading and listening to their opinions, right the way back to the 70s and Nigel Roebuck. I don’t mind them having strong opinions, which seems to upset some reviewers - that’s what I download and listen for. However, the presenter, Martyn Lee, needs to learn to do exactly that - present. A presenter should be good at getting information out of his guests, but Lee constantly pushes his own opinions - yes, we know you don’t like sprint weekends, but you don’t need to mention it every single week!! It’s beginning to spoil this podcast in my opinion. Learn to present properly and my rating will soar back to 5 stars.

More reviews of Autosport F1 & Motorsport
I would have expected you guys to be more sympathetic and less flippant to the situation a fellow motoring journalist, Mark Hales, found himself in by being sued for hundred of thousands of pounds by David Piper over the damage to his 917 and losing. Quite easily that could have been one of you.

So glad to see this podcast come back and now a match for the Motorsport podcast. I think they should take listeners questions to make it feel more interactive. Keep it up and don't stop this time!Read full review »

Really enjoy the chat and analysis on this podcast. BBC chequered flag is so smug and has so many annoying people involved it's hard to bear, and it's a very light skim over the surface of F1. This podcast goes deeper with analysis and insight, and as it's not recorded the minute...Read full review »
