Too repetitive and superficial
Gave this podcast a chance for a few months but after the episode about “this will make you more attractive” I realized what bothers me about every episode. He only takes 1 very banal point and stretches it by repeating it in about 5 different examples. The last podcast could have been 30 seconds: buy clothes that fit well and workout! Done! Like seriously! Not a lot of substance. The episode about George Floyd goes into a weird wildlife explanation that I didn’t get. This is not uncensored wisdom but a guy who rambles through some very messy and meandering thoughts that need to be baked a little longer. Maybe this is just his private diary and not meant for listeners yet. This is a very naive voice about extremely complex issues and he needs a little more life experience or education or maybe personal reflection before sharing these scattered thoughts with others. Not coming off as wisdom and maybe he needs to focus on the censoring - eg honour your listener with prepared arguments. I’m tired of hearing you think out loud and come to know real insight at all.

More reviews of The Aux
I like the new show format. Sam and Zach bring an interesting dynamic, and I find myself laughing along while listening. Looking forward to more!

These are like nice slices of podcasts and articles that can be played within a matter of minutes. Sometimes I don't have enough time at work to listen to an entire episode, so these are great. Keep them coming!Read full review »
