Description
It's 80s Retro Round and we head into battle minus A.H. who has been feeling poorly ever since the Dragons/Steelers redefined snatching defeat from the jaws of victory last Friday night at the one true SCG. Rose and Kris get decked out with mullets, shoulder pads and Mal Meninga eyebrows (no manscaping) and talk the good old days. The callers demand the return of leather footballs, linament, Vaseline, hypercolours and tube skirts. One listener, JR, demands the return of his hair. We learn the sad story of Russell Crowe being refused entry to Mascot Oval because he had his blue heeler puppy, QueBlue, with him. First, Katy Perry, now this! Rose talks Wet Wet Footy and the brave/stupid fan who suggested to Klem that he needs an offload. Didn't the fan take the tip from Laurie Daley who needed to head to his own island for 19 days, "Survivor"-style, to work out he should have spoken with Fifita, then Klemmer, up Kingscliff way? We start the search for an Eddie McGuire for Manly to keep the hate alive. We note that the Sharks v Raiders hate is doing just fine. And with Gavin Badger chalking up his 300th NRL game, we feature Refs Are People Too Two. However, Paul Green didn't get the memo.  The Back Row, 80s style. Mr Greenberg. Tear down that salary cap wall.
