“Listening from the US. A fun first-hand review of the latest season of the Bake Off. Thanks for your sometimes critical perspectives (eg Jane’s take on “proving”). This isn’t a breathless fan cast, but one of the best podcasts about the show. I agree that the show has changed a bit (pizza toppings or tortilla fillings vs baking). I hope Love Productions is listening in here. With Matt Lucas leaving the show I d love to see Dan take his place. I’ve often thought a former baker should be the co-host. Jane would be insightful but I’m afraid she and Paul would end up in fisticuffs! (I’d be happy to teach the panel how to make Mexican food!).”
