“Given that they have (a lot of) advertising and are getting paid for their classes there’s zero reason for Jane and Howard having such terrible audio quality. Harold has a mic but it’s terrible; it sounds like Jane is speaking in the vicinity of a cheap laptop. Echo and more quiet than anyone else. The host clearly has a proper mic so the levels are all off. The bakers have insider knowledge but are far too deferential and polite about the Prue and Paul. The amount of times Jane complains about not having any money is also annoying. You have to be a big fan of GBBO to tolerate this podcast.”

“I’ve really enjoyed this podcast as a post-GBBO treat the next day, but the new host just doesn’t have the chemistry with Howard and Jane. It feels more like a roundtable - ‘Jane, how do you feel about X’ ‘Howard, how do you feel about X’ - than a nicely flowing podcast. Bring back Josh!”
