True crime at its best- gripping story with a purpose.
This podcast is well paced with great story telling- while never taking its eye off the victims, their families, and the issues surrounding policing, local government, grief, addiction… I could go on and on. There’s a clear reason why this story is one that needs to be told. In some podcasts raising awareness can feel clunky or like an after thought or a note to harp on. But in this case, it is so seamlessly inlaid within great storytelling that it has even more of an impact. The audio of the 3 mothers makes this story all that more impactful.

I listen to many, many podcasts, mostly true crime, and I have never cried during a podcast until this one. My heart breaks for these moms. I’m a mother of three, and I cannot imagine going through what they are going through.
