“I could not stop listening and was grateful that all episodes were available. I was left with so many things to ponder. Firstly, the incredible mums and families who despite everything continued to fight. There would be many who would be destroyed but their courage is inspirational. I live in New Zealand and so the reality of the opioid crisis is unfamiliar and it’s effects are horrific to learn about . To hear how doctors unwittingly dispensed painkillers that literally destroyed peoples lives is shocking. It also brought home how there is a ripple effect outwards on the family. My heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in this podcast.”
