Free cosmetic work for host
The entire podcast is icky. I’ve listened to nine episodes hoping for a person to come forward that sounds like they are a genuine human and only one, Dr Green has surfaced. Everyone else mentioned or interviewed including the host sound like people on the take. The host gets free work and you can hear the joy in her voice, as if the work makes her a better human. Superficiality is what’s killing people. Look in the mirror and learn to love yourself, stop trying to be the photoshopped version of a human.

More reviews of The Baron of Botox
A lot of the reviews suggest this series doesn't scratch beneath the surface, but the narrator does an excellent job at picking at the surface to see what lies beneath. She's showing, not telling. Look closer.Read full review »

Yeah, no, this is an absurd and unsettling approach to covering a man’s death. No self-reflection on her own involvement in an industry that leads to an epidemic of body image issues, even when set up with the prompt by Fey’s team. Self-absorbed nonsense.

Meh
Unsubscribed after the 3rd episode. The stories became repetitive and different variations on a personality that was created for the industry but internal struggled until a tragic end.
