Shallow
I can’t connect with anyone in this story. The world, in this story, is concerned with nothing but the surface, what’s visible. They also seem to be attacking Tina Fey and the art of satire for being ‘mean,’ but don’t much address the fact that the cosmeceutical industry is built on exploiting people’s insecurities. I’m 2 episodes in, but I’m done.

Some of the audio is difficult to understand, like the interviews with other people. There is no attempt yet to criticize the beauty industry that cripples so many people’s sense of self worth, confidence and personal wealth. I am only on the 3rd episode. However, while I can’t feel sorry for the excessively vain (& I live in LA!), but it’s a terribly interesting story.
