Some of the audio is difficult to understand, like the interviews with other people. There is no attempt yet to criticize the beauty industry that cripples so many people’s sense of self worth, confidence and personal wealth. The narrator mentions she had a past self who was perhaps shallow as she worked in the fashion industry, however she doesn’t seem to have changed much. As of episode two, podcast is an exploitative look at the sensationalized suicide of a complicated man. Especially as she interviews people and points out how there are secrets, but goes on to push peoples boundaries anyway. And then goes on the make fun of his appearance. Boo. Read the beauty myth.
