Fascinating BUT-
In the first episode, the way the host tries to avoid the fact Fey’s rep asked her a reasonable question in regards to monetizing on this subject- indirectly in their case and literal in the shows case, is really problematic. I would enjoy it more if she had some humility. Exploiting a topic without some type of reverence for some of the means (some of which are being implicated in a suicide) to your end is opportunistic kind of immoral.

More reviews of The Baron of Botox
A lot of the reviews suggest this series doesn't scratch beneath the surface, but the narrator does an excellent job at picking at the surface to see what lies beneath. She's showing, not telling. Look closer.Read full review »

Can be boring as narrator focuses in odd threads. Narrator does not move story along.

Yeah, no, this is an absurd and unsettling approach to covering a man’s death. No self-reflection on her own involvement in an industry that leads to an epidemic of body image issues, even when set up with the prompt by Fey’s team. Self-absorbed nonsense.
