“Anyone that calls “John Roddenberry” the creator of Trek (and have their co-host agree with them) is showing their cards as very unfamiliar fans. That’s fine, but this undermines their takes on what “is or isn’t Trek” as woefully misinformed.
I discovered this show as one of the first Podcasts with reaction to the Strange New World’s premiere. Their SNW episode is full of factual errors and baffling criticisms without analysis. When they get the facts right, many of their opinions are simply “I don’t like it” or “it’s ok” - with little explanation as to why, or digging deeper.
Really difficult to listen to as a big Trek fan. Perhaps an ok listen for someone brand new to the franchise who won’t be constantly annoyed by them misinforming people.”
